Mice

It was bad enough reading in the paper this morning that office keyboards are dirtier than bog seats but we just had this email sent round:

"We found a dead mouse behind the bottom cupboard with the plates in this morning – the pest control man is here right now and checking the other kitchen cupboards as there is a ferocious smell in the kitchen! Could you warn all of your staff who lunch down here that they should take their plates from our top cupboard near the window. Obviously we will be putting all the crockery in the dishwasher this morning – I’d give the plates a rinse before using anyway – just to be on the safe side!"

What??? "Obviously we will be putting all the crockery in the dishwasher this morning" Don't the dishes usually get washed? I've never been in the kitchen here and have no intention of ever setting foot in it.

I'm not surprised we have mice here. Its disgusting. There are cake crumbs all over the place and George, who sometimes works all night and sleeps here (because people being in the office distract him - WTF?), leaves nuts, tinned fish and other mouse tidbits around.

Thank God we are moving office in two months.
